Vets site goes off line!

Unprecedented! Access to the ACT Vets website has been withdrawn. If this outage continues, I hope someone knows how to retrieve all the valuable data owned by the club which is kept on the site!

  2. Looks like some of the data is still online, if you know how to get at it:
    Eg Geoff Moore's profile still works.
    http://www.users.webathletics.com.au/mcorlis/actvac/history.asp?PersonID=1332If access isn't restored hopefully colin will release the database. Judging from the fact that the website is written in asp, the database would most likely be in Microsoft SQL Server format, which is relatively easy to use.

  3. Yes Joel, I noticed that all the form guides are still directly accessible (eg from the list of team members further down this blog). In any case, I would expect normal service to be resumed shortly! Otherwise there will be a lot of catching up to do, like entering results that won't have been put in yet. And I have my Daniels handicapping to do, no problem except I get previous results off the website so I will have to rely on newspaper cuttings instead.
    The registrar might have independent access to membership records, I don't know. Let's hope so. And I know a couple of people who have registered on-line recently.
