Bluetts at 9:00am, summer time

The Vets Handicap this Sunday is at Bluetts Pines at 9am - but don't forget daylight saving starts Sunday, and watches will have gone forward an hour!

    It's that pesky old GRIFFIN, back from hot and humid Queensland !

    Speedygeoff - I read your tale of lament and immediately thought of the latin quote:

    Veni, vidi, volo in domum redire !
    I came, I saw, I want to go home !

    But then I thought no, it should still be the classic latin quote:

    Veni, vidi, vici !
    I came, I saw, I conquered !

    Because my friend, you conquered the race in your mind, so for mine that still counts !

    I hope you are now well on the mend, and that you will be at the Bluetts Pines handicap tomorrow !

    As for being carried off in a wheelchair, isn't it great to get the ' First Class ' treatment !

    Not like Garry Maher who was just carried to the side of the track when he plunged face first into the track and tore his ' hammy ' !
