Monday Morning Monitor

Nationals 5000m results:
W35 4. Amanda Walker 21:30.17 - one tough lady
W40 5. Katie Forestier 19:59.79 - a huge pb
M45 5. Colin Farlow 17:33.11 - great time, and was lapped by one or two of the leaders!

And in the 200m heats: Shisei Oya 30.96 - just missed qualifying for the final

My training progress
last week's target: 90k
achieved: 90k
year total to date: 1,435k in 14 weeks
this week’s target: 80k or so including the marathon
weight: 65kg ▲

And now we are six. Today's forecast for the marathon: "Fine, mostly sunny. Min 9 Max 25"

  1. p.s. In Hobart I would have been flogged in the M55 5000m, no way could I have improved 90 seconds to run third. But I would have run a place in the 10,000m in all likelihood.

  2. Tesso is going to get her friend In the BOM to change that forecast. Max and Min neeed to be a bit lower.

    What about that 5k?! Nineteen something. Wooohooo!
