Made back in 1995, a future Olympian shows early form.
A race doesn't have to be close to be enjoyable to watch. I remember as a boy watching the National Cross Country at St Mary's in Adelaide, where a young Ron Clarke thrashed the field. And I remember competing in a marathon at Richmond, NSW when John Farrington sprinted away at the start, to end up with a solo 2:11. Such performances were more exciting than a close, slower race would have been.
